The terms "right miter countertop" and "left miter countertop" refer to the way the corners of the countertop are cut and aligned. With a straight cut it will not be cut in any direction.

Formica
What is Formica?
Formica being the brand name for the type of laminate most commonly used for the countertops listed above. Not only that but it is also used for tabletops and various other surfaces in both commercial and residential settings. The composition of it is made by layering sheets of paper or fabric saturated with resin and it is then pressed together under high heat and pressure.
